IBA AEROTECH is an engineering consultancy focused exclusively on airport special equipment.
We support airport construction companies, main contractors, operators and OEMs with specification design, technical due diligence, procurement support, supervision of assembly and commissioning, and final quality control for equipment such as Passenger Boarding Bridges and Baggage Handling Systems.
How we work
Our approach is field-proven and specification-driven.
We combine hands-on site experience with a clear understanding of contracts, client expectations and international standards. Instead of only reacting to project constraints, we help shape them early – from employer’s requirements and technical specifications to commissioning and O&M strategies.
The target is always the same: equipment that is compliant, reliable and truly suited to the real operational conditions of the airport.

Founder
Cihan İba – Founder, IBA AEROTECH
Cihan İba is a mechanical engineer with more than 15 years of experience in airport special equipment, particularly Passenger Boarding Bridges and related systems.
Throughout his career, he has worked on projects in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, taking roles in design review, specification preparation, site supervision, commissioning and final quality control.
This combination of deep engineering background, on-site problem solving and an independent, vendor-neutral perspective is at the core of the value IBA AEROTECH brings to its clients.
